Healing is releasing the stories that keep you from your inherent wholeness

Who This Is For

If you are navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions:

  • You understand yourself well but keep finding yourself in the same patterns anyway

  • You've done the work — read the books, tried the therapy — and something still hasn't moved

  • You function — sometimes exceptionally well — but it costs more than it should

  • You know your reactions are disproportionate but can't seem to change them in the moment

If you are healing from trauma:

  • Your body rarely feels like a safe place to be

  • Intimacy and closeness can feel as threatening as being alone

  • You find yourself in the same relational dynamics over and over — and can't understand why

What We Do

This work is not only about processing what happened to you. It is about building the internal capacity to live differently — through creating more self-awareness, love, and compassion.

We begin where your system actually is. That means developing nervous system regulation first — learning to recognize when you are dysregulated, building tolerance for difficult states, and expanding your window of what feels manageable.

From there we work to increase awareness of the patterns keeping you stuck — not just intellectually, but somatically. What does your body do in response to a thought or narrative? Where do old responses live, and what keeps triggering them?

Monica takes a trauma-informed, somatic-based approach, drawing on EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Somatic-Emotional Processing (MBSEP), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)as primary modalities. Sessions may also weave in breathwork, guided mindfulness and imagery, self-compassion practices, and nervous system regulation skills — all shaped by what your mind and body need in any given session.

The pace is yours. You will not be pushed to perform healing. Change that lasts requires that your whole system — not just your understanding — has time to integrate.

Over time clients often notice something shifting from the inside — a different relationship to their own thoughts and feelings. More space to meet themselves and their patterns with compassion, curiosity, and discernment. Recognizing that a thought or pattern is just that — and not the whole truth of who they are.

What You Can Expect

Sessions are 53 minutes and held via telehealth. Each session is shaped by what is most present for you that day. You can expect a blend of somatic awareness, mindfulness practices, and verbal processing — woven together in a way that meets where your mind and body actually are.

This is not a space where you will be managed or moved through a protocol. You will be seen as someone capable of real change — and challenged, sometimes gently, sometimes more directly, but always honestly, when something needs to be named.

And through all of it — the hard sessions, the slow weeks, the moments when progress feels invisible — you will be met with genuine kindness. Not the kind that softens truth, but the kind that makes truth bearable.

Progress here is not measured in breakthroughs. It is measured in the slowly expanding sense that you have more choice than you used to. That you are less at the mercy of your own reactions. That something that once felt fixed has started, quietly, to move.
